Love and laughter come to life in the Russian countryside in this free, bilingual play based on two of Chekhov’s short vaudeville comedies, The Bear and The Proposal. Presented by Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies at the University of Oregon, in collaboration with University of Oregon Libraries, Department of Theatre Arts, Global Scholars Hall, and University Housing. REEES’s annual bilingual Russian-English play, “Chekhov, Love & All That,” based on two vaudeville comedies by Anton Chekhov and directed by Lara Ravitch, took place on March 10th at 7:30 p.m. and March 11th at 2:30 p.m. in 123 Global Scholars Hall.
