Eugene Oregin, a bilingual adaptation of Pushkin’s novel in verse, Eugene Onegin     (produced by Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies in collaboration with University of Oregon Libraries, Department of Theater Arts, Global Scholars Hall, and University Housing)

Love, glory, boredom and the quirks of the Russian soul will be brought to life this spring as the UO Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies (REEES) students perform the classic Russian work “Eugene Onegin” side-by-side with a hilarious modern bilingual adaptation.

“Eugene Oregin” is a microcosm of human nature, both sinister and poetic–remaining the same through the centuries.
